Responding to the need for data
To address the gap, a consortium of 19 partners from 12 countries collected comparable data on youth mental health.
Como o realizámos
Realizámos um estudo online na Albânia, Bélgica, Alemanha, Itália, Moldávia, Polónia, Portugal, Roménia, Sérvia, Espanha, Suíça e Israel. Os jovens foram recrutados através de vários canais, incluindo instituições de ensino, organizações juvenis e plataformas de redes sociais, como o Instagram e o Facebook, bem como através do recrutamento entre pares. O inquérito estava disponível na(s) língua(s) local(is) de cada país participante. Em conformidade com as diretrizes éticas, foram obtidos o consentimento informado dos pais e o assentimento dos participantes antes do início da recolha de dados do inquérito.
O que constatámos
: Um total de 5 817 jovens com idades compreendidas entre os 15 e os 24 anos participaram no estudo EARLY 2025.

A milestone has been achieved. Further analysis is now underway to help us understand how to support youth in communities with high burdens of MHCs and ensure that no young person suffers without support.
